Change of format for APVMA Gazette

From 27 March, the Australian pesticide and Veterinary Medicine Authority (APVMA) want to align itself with the practices of other Government departments who publish Gazette notices. The agency has announced it would like to provide the APVMA Gazette as a single document, rather than splitting the Gazette up into individual notices as has been the practice in the past. APVMA believe that providing the Gazette as one single document will be a more efficient way to deliver the notices and will make it easier to access information. The contents page of the single document Gazette will be hyperlinked to all the notices it contains, and you will be able to navigate around the document freely. However, before the changes are implemented, the agency has requested feedback on the proposal. APVMA are interested in determining: Would you have any issues accessing the information you seek if the agency moved to providing the gazette as a single document? Which gazette format do you prefer of the ones we currently provide: PDF, RTF, or would you prefer HTML? Your answers to the above questions, and any other comments on this issue, should be emailed to communications@apvma.gov.au. The deadline for submissions is 5 p.m. Monday, 26 March 2012. Submissions received after this date will only be considered if agreement for an extension has been given prior to this closing date. Agreement to an extension of time will only be given if extraordinary circumstances warrant an extension to the submission period.
