Decisions regarding requests to vary the draft Priority Existing Chemical (PEC) Report for Diisononyl Phthalate (DINP)

On 26 June 2012, the National Industrial Chemicals and Assessment Scheme (NICNAS) released its response to the requests for varying the priority existing chemical report on diisononyl phthalate (DINP). Out of the total of 24 requests, three were approved; 16 were partially approved; and four are not approved. In addition, further decisions arising from the variation including new studies on prenatal and postnatal developmental toxicity and amendments to exposure, NOAEL, MOE and cumulative MOE values have also been released.
