New antifouling paint rules in force from 1 July 2015

New Zealand’s Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) is reminding manufacturers and importers of antifouling paints of new labelling rules that came into force on 1 July 2015. All antifouling paints are now required to carry two new statements on their label and anyone who sells or supplies antifouling paints must also make sure these two statements are on the label. Further information on the new requirements is available at: Download the information sheet on the new rules for labelling. In addition, the agency has created a brochure to help everyone understand the rules, and follow them. The brochure is available at: Read the brochure.
