Norway publishes guide to nanotechnology at work

The Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority, a government agency, has published a guide on nanotechnology and the working environment. The guide outlines how nanomaterials are covered to a certain extent by Norway’s Working Environment Act. In addition, it gives information on health hazards associated with nanomaterials in the workplace and on how employers can fulfil legal obligations in terms of risk assessment, measurement, control measures, and providing information to workers. A copy of the guide is available at: Guide (in Norwegian)
