New exposure scenario communications package available

The exposure scenario communications package (ESCom) standard for exchanging exposure scenario data between IT systems helps companies to communicate consistent and harmonised exposure scenario information throughout the supply chain. The new package contains an XML schema and a catalogue of standard phrases. There are also updated guidance documents and detailed technical documents for IT systems designers. Exposure scenario communications is a key process for the successful implementation of REACH. The ESCom project is conducted in close cooperation with Cefic, DUCC and ECHA under the Chemical safety report/Exposure scenario Roadmap. Further information is available at:
