Norway amends national REACH requirements

Norway has published legislation which transposes changes in REACH Annex XIII and Annex XIV into national law, according to the country’s Climate and Pollution Agency (Klif). The changes to Annex XIII include the use of more data in assessments for substances that are persistent, bioaccumulative and toxic (PBT) or very persistent and very bioaccumulative (vPvB), to improve the classification of environmental effects. The change to Annex XIV was the addition of five substances added to the Annex earlier this year. Further information on the amendments is available at: REACH requirements
