Public consultation on harmonised classification and labelling

The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) is looking for comments on the harmonised classification and labelling proposals for the following substances:

  • Citric acid (EC 201-069-1; CAS 77-92-9). It has no existing harmonised classification and labelling in Annex VI to CLP. Comments are invited on selected physical hazard properties as well as on health and environmental hazards except aspiration hazard and hazardous to the ozone layer hazard classes.
  • Clomazone (ISO); 2-(2-chlorobenzyl)-4,4-dimethyl-1,2-oxazolidin-3-one (EC -; CAS 81777-89-1). It has no existing harmonised classification and labelling in Annex VI to CLP. Comments are invited on selected physical hazards as well as all human health and environmental hazard classes except hazardous to the ozone layer. Please note that for this substance a parallel consultation on the Renewal Assessment Report (RAR) is being currently run by EFSA.
