The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) is organising a seminar in collaboration with Cefic and Eurometaux to improve future applicants’ knowledge of the authorisation application procedure. The main topics to be covered include the content requirements for applications, the public consultation on possible alternatives, the analysis of alternatives and socio-economic analysis, as well as the formats, manuals and tools for the application submission. Specific issues related to EDC, MOCA and Diglyme will also be addressed. The seminar is targeting people with a basic understanding of the application for authorisation process and, in particular, those with an intention to apply for authorisation or those who will be helping companies to apply. The event will take place at ECHA’s premises from 29 June to 30 June. The deadline for registration is 1 June 2015. Further information is available on ECHA’s Event page.
