OSHA extends public comment period for updated Safety and Health Program Management Guidelines
The United States Department of Labors Occupational Safety and Health Administration is extending the public comment period on an updated version of its voluntary Safety and Health Program Management Guidelines. The current comment period was announced on 16 November 12015, and was to close on 15 February 2016. OSHA is extending the comment period by one week to allow interested parties more time to provide feedback on the draft Guidelines. The comment period will now close on 22 February 2016. For more information on the draft guidelines and provide comment, visit OSHAs Safety and Health Program Management webpage. The guidelines are advisory only and do not create any new legal obligations or alter existing obligations created by OSHA standards or regulations.
