Public consultation: dietary reference values for vitamin D

The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has launched a public consultation on its draft scientific opinion on dietary reference values for vitamin D. Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin which can be obtained from food and from exposure to sunlight or artificial ultraviolet-B light. The document proposes dietary reference values for adults, children and infants, pregnant and lactating women. EFSA invites interested parties to submit written comments by 16 May 2016.
