Conclusion on the peer review of the pesticide risk assessment of the active substance cycloxydim

The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has been requested to conduct a focused peer review in the area of environmental fate and behaviour and deliver its conclusions on cycloxydim. The conclusions are reached on the basis of the evaluation of the representative uses of cycloxydim as a herbicide on rape, sugar beet, potato, green bean, field bean and tolerant maize. The risk is assessed as low for all non-target organisms for all representative uses. Risk mitigation measures, e.g. non-spray buffer zone of 5 m are however required to identify a low risk to non-target plants.
