South Korea Updates GHS Classification List
On 23 May 2018, the National Institute of Environmental Research (NIER) announced by NIER Announcement No. 2018-21 the updates on South Koreas GHS Classification List. The classification information, pictograms, signal words, hazard statements, M factors and UN No., of nine toxic chemical substances (Given No. 2018-1-833~841) were newly added into the list. The details are accessible here (in Chinese). The updates are effective immediately. The 9 substances were officially appended to South Koreas Toxic Chemical Substance List (TCSL) by NIER Announcement No. 2018-9 on 30 March 2018. The last update to the GHS Classification List finished on 28 Feb 2018 by NIER Announcement No. 2018-5.
